The chalk talk promised a flat hash – no one believed it, but for once the hares were telling the truth. The trail took us over the marshes towards Exminster village and back along the canal path, with a couple of long/short splits for good measure, and nice big flour marks so we knew that we were heading in the right (or wrong) direction. An excellent selection of sweets were provided at the sweetie stop, then on we went with the shorts heading back across the marshes and the longs taking a slightly longer route along the canal and up the lane back towards the Swans Nest. Swinger was wearing a green tennis dress (I’d never seen one of these things before). I’m amazed she didn’t get fined for it; but anything goes on the hash.
Three newcomers turned up. Whether Emily will return I don’t know as Groucho asked her whether she was a virgin in the opening circle. Thankfully, he was fined for his quote in the closing circle with Oddbitz officiating in Twin Peaks absence.
