#1066 Core Copse - Howlin' Wilf - 4 Sept 2022

A mizzly morning at East Hill Strips, and nice to see the return of Pearl, and Mini Bar and Troy. Started off with a shaggy dog that wanted to go and say hello to everyone. Howlin' Wilf offered some confusing monologue about similarities to the last trail he laid here, and how we should be alarmed or think too much into that.

The trail itself was long and thin, with a hefty long-short split to start off with. Given we were staying at the top of the ridge, it seemed surprisingly hilly.  Our hare had left the sweets in a green bag at the regroup, perfectly camaflouged amongst the woody undergrowth.  Since of is seemed to be doing more fish hooks than others, and I think Troy started wondering whether she could get away with skipping them! There were two huge pools of colourful water, one a builders tea brown, the other a sparkly post-acopalypic green. We avoided them both.

On on to next week where Spocky will be laying at Joneys Cross. Don't forget to rate the hash! https://cityofexeterhhh.blogspot.com/p/rate-hash_3.html?m=1
