#1080 Warren car park, Woodbury Common - Imelda - 27 Nov 2022

Nice to see that the Warren car park has had a bit of attention, with a nice new entrance. Just seems to have even less space now!
Our new GM got the pack together almost on time. He asked Speedy about the run number, Speedy didn't know, and then looked on his spreadsheet, and then gave him the wrong number. It's 1080 not 1079... Wide said that 1079 is Spockys favourite number,  so was surprised he wasn't here. Now we know it was infact 1080, we understand why.
It was a trail of many loops, at least for the longs, and when Bollards went for a wee, she nearly washed out the fishhook on the trail on the way home. Previously Wide and I went for a Team Wee under an isolated, scraggy tree. We didn't cross streams and he accused me of staring at him (with my one eye winking...). The longs then followed the walking trail up to the sweetie stop, with the rest of the pack already arrived.
At the sweetie stop Albus got his head in the bag of marshmallows, with his owner, Wilf, seemingly unaware. That was down down contender number one
Shortly after the sweetie stop, there was a fishhook, with MadvMax declaring that he was the 5th there (fishhooks were for 4).  He was still standing on the fishhook when the 4 returned from the back of the pack!  That was down down contender no. 2 for not checking.
Then Speedy managed to be so engrossed with taking photos, he ran straight past the hare on the fishhook. He was contender number 3.
After the trail,  we seemed to have lost Chardonnay and Mad Max, but they weren't far behind. Speedy took charge as the new sheriff, and named Chardonnay's offspring Bucks Fizz (because she was drinking orange juice), and Max and Wilf shared the down down
On on to next week, which is Speedys 18th birthday, and he wanted to lay the trail. It's from George V playing fields car park (the one in the village, not off Topsham Road).  Anyone who wants to eat at the Tally Ho! afterwords, please let Speedy know.
Don't forget to Rate the Hash https://cityofexeterhhh.blogspot.com/p/rate-hash_3.html?m=1, and include some scores for previous hashes (if you can remember them). Awards week be made at the Xmas meal on 18th Dec at Cofton Holiday Park. Put the date in diaries now!
