#1042 Cranbrook Railway Station - Spocky standing in for Boots - 13 March ,2022

It started off p*++*ng it down with Spocky predicting all his marks to have disappeared. He worried us with talk of a 7 mile trail but owned up that it was from his house, round the last part of the trail to the start, then the first part back to his house, and then back to the start again. I was hoping for a beer stop, but no such luck. Boots would have done one!

The trail took us on a long immediately round a very wet field at the end of the car park, then back with the shorts around the houses up to the primary  school. Then over Rockbeare bridge and onto a loop around the park on the other side of the main road, finishing the first half of the trail at the sweetie stop.

By the second half of the trail I was knackered so did the shorts, up the lane to the old farm up to education campus and along the fields by the railway line. A bit more weaving around the park until we were back home.

Thanks to Spocky for standing in again, although Boots would have done a much better job.

Next week we're at Wheathill Plantation Car Park on Woodbury Common.
