Just 10 of us this morning, but it was a beautiful morning to be out. Bollards had laid the tail from, according to Wide, a new addition to the dogging network of car parks, hidden away at the back of the new development.
Spocky turned up with a sparkly new pair of trainers "what do you mean, these old things?", and we had the return of the Speedy, in advance of the Away Day to Bristol next week.
The trail took us past the Heavitree brewery, down what remains of Trood Lane, a fish hook, before a long-short through the houses and returning to not far from where we started. Up alongside the A30 then into the park itself, where we caught up with the walkers.
A haha on a long split, and then up to the transmitters and a sweetie stop on the benches on the other side of the lane with the wooden sheep. Belltoll tried to get Blue to herd them!
Then another long around the field, down and the steeply up, and back on to the lane. A final long short before heading home, after a 4 mile, one hour trail!
During the circle Speedy updated us with the plans for next week (Bristol Temple Meads at 11.30), and Spocky his down down (despite complaining earlier that he didn't want a whole beer ...)
On on!
