A wriggly windy trail of about 4 miles today from Howlin' Wilf, and rather moist under foot for most of it. We were worried that Rosie's little legs may mean she'd have to do some swimming across the puddles!!
Nice to see the return of Drop Off, Belltoll and Dobbie & Haggis. Many of us were a bit delayed due to the queues getting into the eventat Greensdale, but we waited! Setting off at about 11.15 the trail took us around familar parts of the common, with maybe three long-shorts. It was definitely a faster pace than we've recently been used to... Probably thanks to Dobbie, and Spocky's remarkable recovery!
The sweetie stop was at Hawkerland, and at the end Howlin' Wilf treated us to the mulled wine he'd promised us after the last trail he'd laid from the same venue back on New Year's Eve, but when he'd forgotten the key ingredients!!
Next week we're at Ridgetop Park, Matford (map) with a trail from Bollards and Speedy.
