The trail took us around the river basin in Exeter, with some long longs (at least before the sweetie stop!). The first loop took us around the playing fields before catching up with the shorts by the old mill. Then a second long short was a very long way round the university sports pitches by the river, and then up towards the quay before returning back to Ducks Meadow for the sweetie stop.
From then, it was pretty much straight back home thorough Woodpecker's home territory, with a long-short cutting off the corner of the path, and a second long short around the old pitch and putt field.
At the end a presentation was made to Woodpecker in the form of a cake with 90 candles lit by a flame thrower, and a personalized bum belt .
Then back to the Tally Ho! where Woodpecker kindly bought us all a drink!
