Catching Up

Where has the year gone? It is time to think about the Christmas Hash. Having grown too big for The Imperial, the Christmas Hash on the 18th Dec will be laid by Groucho (expect a debacle) from the Twisted Oak in Ide and much merriment (annual prize giving) will follow afterwards in the pubs conservatory, holding 43 people comfortably. Groucho has asked the hash theme to be red and green.

Shortly before this,on the 27th November, PP and FF will lay a hash from Pine Ridge Car Park Woodbury Common and afterwards the AGM will follow at Spockys house. It would be great if anyone has any thoughts or ideas for improving The City of Exeter H3 that they could either attend or let Spocky/Groucho know. Particularly any ideas for The Autumn Gathering.

Finally congratluations to X-bitz and Tuned In who are expecting babies early next year. It is not known when Mudflaps baby is due but its looks like pretty soon!

PS It has been noted that sausage sales in the Exeter and East Devon area have slumped since Boots in Puss wore his fancy dress outfit!!

Where does the time fly?
Yes it's October already!

This means that the Autumn Gathering will soon be upon us! (yay)

BUFFET ~ As you know we would like you to bring some food for the buffet on Friday night and Saturday night (Mexican theme on Saturday night) don't forget your fancy dress!!.
Trying to organise who will bring what for each night sounds to much like hard work!!
We do have the use of the kitchen (ovens, microwave, fridge etc..) so we can heat things up and keep things cool. I'm sure we won't waste away (just).
BEDDING~ You will need to bring a sleeping bag and pillow or anything along those lines (all they supply is the mattress).

SUNDAY PUB LUNCH~ As you know this year the pub lunch will be free!!!
choices are

1. Freshly prepared cod in a beer batter served with chipped potatoes and mushy peas
2. Homemade chill con carne served with rice and tortilla chips
3. Vegetable moussaka served with a seasonal salad and garlic bread
4. Home baked honey roast ham served with a fried egg and chipped potatoes*

*The Ham, Egg and Chips should be suitable for gluten free, if not please advise, we could for example offer a salad or similar.

They need to know what we are having at least a week before (obviously they need to catch the fish and grow the veg!!)So can you please let me know what you would like asap,
