Brampford Speke - Swinger - 26th July

Upon reaching Blobhoblin and I noticed a rather wet looking hare, Swinger,who had been out in the environment for some three hours. In total the pack consisted of 15 hashers, going up to 16 when Mad Max caught up with us some 20 minutes late. There were no long/short splits today due in part to climatic conditions, puddles and mud being the theme, also some of the trail was like following pancakes. Our hare remained up beat and should be commended for her efforts.

To make up for no long/shorts Swinger put in lots of back arrows with the same familiar faces doing them including Blobhoblin, Hole in One, Damp Patch and Mad Max to name but a few.
Our sheriff Miss Twin Peaks was at the back for most of the hash, claiming she had a pain in the back, or was it pain at the back. As an act of kindness she waivered any fines. The had a brief sunny spell whilst at the sweet stop, but rest assured it didn't lost for long, maybe five minutes.
