Otterton - Swinger - 4th October 2015

Almost everyone got stuck behind slow moving traffic - so it was quite a late on-off.  Tampa was last to arrive at about 11.10.  The weather had turned really autumnal.  Leaves on the ground, cloudy and windy - especially windy at the Sweetie Stop on the beach.  It wasn't like that yesterday when Swinger laid a similar trail for A2B H3.

The first part of the trail took us up the river, across the bridge, and back down across the fields to the village.  A local villager shouted out the window of his house to tell us the way.  While the second part led us to Ladram Bay and back - lots of hills and many, many fish hooks.  Damp patch thought about going for a swim in the sea, but managed to keep hold of his senses and just went for a paddle. There were at least two hashers who needed a wee, Coat-check and Tampa - must have been the cold and the sound of water!
Lots of fines - including nerd naming, and sitting down on the hash.  Bollards was lying down (although it was an actually bollards that was lying on its side, rather than Bollards).  Speedy refused to drink from his new shoes, but on the way home, promised to do it next week - we shall see.
The next hash is from Killerton / Elleyhayes, parking by the bridge near the mills - a map is here.  And please don't forget to Rate The Hash.  Finally click here to order your hash tshirts, hoodies etc before the order is placed in November.
