Hashing is back next week 6th December

From Wednesday 2 December organised outdoor sport, and physical activity and exercise classes are permitted in all English areas (tiers), but there should be no travel to or from Tier 3: Very High alert areas.  The 'rule of six' had been reintroduced into all areas, meaning you must not socialise in a group of more than 6; this includes before or after the trail.  But this means that hashing can resume. Next week's trail is 6th December Chudleigh Car Park, TQ13 0HL As previously, you will need to register and provide a Covid19 self assessment in advance (no more than 48 hours): /HashReg   We have produced a COVID-secure Risk Assessment, Delivery Plan and a Guidance document for participants and hares. Please read these careful before taking part, see

Spocky turned up in his new (ish) 4x4, and then avoided the puddle in the car park. I'd already driven straight through them, forgetting that I'd given the Skoda its annual clean the day before! Then after a non social gathering about the latest lockdown measures, and another about artichokes,, we set off. Most of the pack going completely the wrong way, including Bollards who seemed to have made up her own long loop.  Unfortunately Howling Wilf had to retire early due to injury. But the rest of us headed across the marshes and towards the railway line and the village. There was a long loop along the way that Wide did twice!  Another long loop took the longs back to the Swans Nest roundabout, wi
